Security

Probe handles inspection records, vendor documents and audit trails for operators in a regulated industry. Security is built into the product rather than bolted on afterward.

Access control

Access is granted per project and per inspection, not per account. A cost controller can be given read-only visibility across a whole project; an observer can be scoped to a single inspection. Roles are enforced on every request, not just in the interface.

Authentication

Domain-scoped invitations for vendors and inspectors outside your organization. Sessions are revocable at any time and end automatically when an account is deactivated.

Audit trail

Every assignment, upload, edit and status change is attributed to a person and timestamped directly on the record it affects. The trail exports with the record — it is not a separate log you have to go looking for.

Data residency

Regional hosting is available for operators with in-country data requirements, including a self-hosted deployment inside your own perimeter.

Deterministic adjudication

Pass/fail outcomes are computed from encoded acceptance criteria, not generated by a model. AI is used to extract and reconcile data at the edges of the workflow — it never sits in the pass/fail decision path. Every value extracted from a vendor report is verifiable against the source document it came from.
